I'm Heidi Guenther - an artist and art teacher, living in beautiful Saskatoon, Sask. I'm married to Desmond and am Mom to three young men (our youngest is in Gr.12). I'm profoundly deaf but I wear a hearing aid and lip-read. I've taught card-making, scrapbooking and art workshops in Saskatoon and area for over 20 years, including online classes through a variety of websites. I'm passionate about the intersection of art, joy in creativity and faith in Jesus.
Workshop: God and Creativity
In this workshop, we'll discuss the importance of talking with God and inviting him to show us the phrase or verse that he would like us to remember going forward. You will create a Bible art journaling page that you will get to take home with you, which can be adhered to your personal Bible (if desired). With watercolours, markers and a variety of art supplies, we'll create our pages with images and lettering. I'll have art examples for your inspiration and colouring pages for those who wish it.
