Important information
You will need to bring the volunteer letter with you to the Police Station or RCMP Detachment to accompany your application.
In most circumstances this is a free service and the resulting CRC/VSC letter with official seal will be provided to you immediately.
Please check with your local RCMP Detachment, if you are not a resident of Saskatoon, to confirm if an appointment is required.

MB volunteers only
If you were born after Feb 28, 1986, or if you have provided a Criminal Record Check (CRC) to INSPIRE within the last 3 years, you will receive an email or text message from “Secure Online Screening”. You will have 7 days to complete your CRC refresh through this platform.
You do not need to download the Volunteer Letter (Step 7) or Upload your CRC (Step 8). The platform will provide your CRC directly to INSPIRE once the process is completed.
If you were born on or before Feb 28, 1986, you will need to obtain your Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) through your local Police, RCMP station or online
(allow for online processing time of 5 - 10 days)
