You might be surprised that I am a leader with a voice. You see, I’m a very quiet person. I’m not your typical “leader” - I don’t teach on a big stage in front of people, I don’t like to speak up in meetings, I get anxious having to talk to new people, and I prefer to keep to myself. How can I be a leader and use my voice when I am so shy?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

While most people think that the only time their voice is heard is if they are in front of a crowd or preaching on stage, I believe that:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The Lord has blessed me with a soft heart that is gentle and kind. Because of these gifts, I am able to pour into my work and my relationships just as effectively as someone who likes to be in front of a crowd.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

God didn’t create everyone with the same giftings. While many people are comfortable being in front of the crowd, many people are more comfortable using their voice in unique ways behind the scenes. I use my voice on the Inspire team to build our website and marketing emails creatively; I use my voice to make tech decisions for platforms we use; I use my voice to speak up when something doesn’t feel quite right; and I use my voice to spread love, encourage, and pray for my team mates in their roles.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
